Lichfield Camera Club were delighted to hear on Wednesday 23rd February 2005
that they are to receive a five thousand pound grant from Awards for All, part of the Lottery grants programme. With the huge rise in digital photography and imaging,

Lichfield Camera Club will be using the grant to pay for much needed digital
imaging equipment including a digital projector, computer & software, a new
projection screen and stand, in addition to a new print display unit. The
new equipment will allow Lichfield Camera Club to hold training and
educational workshops in digital imaging using "Photoshop" - the software
used by many professional photographers and graphic designers.

In addition, informal digital imaging problem solving and teaching sessions
will be able to held regularly on request and as demand necessitates, with
the new equipment at hand at weekly Lichfield Camera Club meetings.
